About this Project

3J provided civil engineering and water resources for the SE Witch Hazel Road Sidewalk Improvement Project. The sidewalk improvements transformed a previously disconnected and hazardous corridor, into a safe, accessible walking route connecting residential neighborhoods to nearby schools, businesses, and transit.

The new infrastructure significantly improves walkability for students attending the nearby schools, which serve a diverse student population, and it benefits the broader community by improving access to public transit and essential services. The project was completed three and a half months early.
