Oregon City Waterline Improvements

Oregon City, OR

3J assisted Oregon City with improvements to an aging waterline system.

3J provided civil engineering and inspection services to replace sections of aging distribution piping as well as aging pressure reducing vaults. In 2021, 3J completed the design of public water distribution mains, connections made to existing services and two new prefabricated 6” pressure reducing vaults with challenging access. 3J was able to achieve a tight timeline for design and bid to meet the City’s needs. With the success of this project the City requested design services for the next round of water improvements, as well as the addition of sewer and pavement upgrades. In October 2022, 3J completed the bid documents for public water distribution main, public sewer main, connections made to existing services for sewer and water, and new prefabricated 8” and 10” pressure reducing vaults.

  • 2021 Water Improvements: final design and construction for 500 lineal feet of public water distribution main, and two new prefabricated 6” pressure reducing vaults
  • 2022 Water and Sewer Improvements: final design for 1,500 lineal feet of public water distribution main, 700 lineal feet of public sewer main, and new prefabricated 8” and 10” pressure reducing vaults
