MorningStar’s first development in Oregon, a new 97,653-sqft assisted living and memory care center with 104 suites in Beaverton.

About this Project

3J provided civil engineering for a new senior living community off SW Barrows Road near SW Murray Boulevard. The project provided 104 assisted living and memory care units. Situated on 5.25 acres, the 97,653 sqft development offers 66 suites for assisted living and 38 suites devoted to the individualized care of residents with memory impairment. The site incorporates walking paths and courtyards with gardening plots, as well as bike parking and 59 parking spaces. The design has been able to incorporate all these site features without touching approximately 3 acres of the wetland area. This project included public waterline improvements along one of the site’s frontage roads.

59 parking spaces surrounding the building were implemented for easy accessibility to all parts of the center.
