Creating a plan for the future of a regional facility serving a coastal community.
3J led a team of consultants to prepare a Master Plan for the Lincoln County Commons, home of the Lincoln County Fair. The Master Plan has two main components: a facilities plan and a comprehensive business plan. The facilities plan identified desired new facilities and improvements to existing facilities. The business plan provided a sustainable operational and maintenance budget that included options for both public and private or revenue-based funding mechanisms. Tasks included: project management; facilitating the Master Plan Visioning Committee, focus group interviews and public meetings; coordinating communication efforts; plan development; and presentations to the Fair Board and Board of Commissioners. The Master Plan included a phasing strategy for capital improvements.
In February 2019, the Lincoln County Fair Board and Lincoln County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the Revised Master Plan for the Lincoln County Commons.
