Clackamas County Fair & Event Center Master Plan

Canby, OR

The Clackamas County Fairgrounds has been a proud tradition in the community since 1907. The plan creates new uses for the grounds with the addition of new buildings and updates to guide further decision making.

About this Project

3J led a team to update the 1996 Clackamas County Fair & Event Center Master Plan to guide site and facility improvements to support activities during the fair and throughout the year. The new master plan includes a Site and Facilities Plan, Business Plan and Marketing Plan.

The consultant team conducted community outreach and facilitated a Technical Advisory Committee of key stakeholders; assessed existing conditions on the site; developed site and facilities alternatives and a preferred alternative; estimated improvement costs and identified potential funding sources and developed a phasing plan for improvements.
