Aloha Swim Center

Aloha, OR

An improved pervious concrete parking lot provides essential drainage for rainwater and additional parking for Aloha Swim Center visitors.

About this Project

3J coordinated with Clean Water Services and Washington County to design a more sustainable parking lot. The pervious concrete material allows rainwater to soak directly into the ground preventing possible clogging.

Pervious concrete is an environmentally-friendly, functional and long-lasting solution for parking lot applications such as at THPRD's Aloha Swim Center.

Additional parking is now available to the swim center's visitors.

Bark nugget planter islands were suggested by 3J rather than typical bark dust in order to prevent clogging.
