Jim Schmitt, PE, and Brian O’Rourke, PE, were recently promoted to Project Managers at 3J. In their new roles, they are responsible for mentoring design staff and helping clients achieve their project goals. They will oversee schedules, budgets, and project deliverables, ensuring exceptional client service and successful projects.
Jim has 15 years of experience and has worked at 3J for over 5 years. He’s worked on nearly 120 projects at 3J, including dozens of residential projects. He was also the lead engineer on several recent solar sites in Hawaii. Jim is passionate about giving back to the community and is instrumental in 3J’s volunteer efforts for In4All and Centro Cultural.
Brian has 12 years of experience and has worked at 3J for over 8 years. During his time at 3J, Brian has worked on a variety of projects, including K-12 projects for the Lake Oswego School District, West Linn-Wilsonville School District, and Hillsboro School District. He was also the lead design engineer on the award-winning E. Crestview Drive Improvements project for the City of Newberg.
