3J Consulting is pleased to welcome Sam Huck to the team! In his role as Planner, he will work on various projects providing long-range and current planning services.
Sam is a recent graduate of Portland State University where he earned his master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning. He also received Graduate Certificates for Real Estate Development and Affordable Housing. Sam spent the last half of 2021 as a Planning intern at the City of Hillsboro. His experience includes working closely with senior City staff on drafting amendments to the Hillsboro Community Development Code for policy-neutral code changes and designing and outlining the initial layout for the Downtown Hillsboro Design Guide.
In his spare time, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and friends, playing with his two cats, going on walks, and desperately trying to finish his McMenamins passport (one day).
