3J Consulting is pleased to welcome Monserrat Hernandez-Lopez to the team! In her role as Civil Technician, she will work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, parks and recreation, transportation, utility, K-12, renewable energy, or other site/land development design projects.
Monserrat is a recent graduate of Oregon State University (OSU) where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Monserrat was the IDEA Coordinator for Engineers Without Borders – OSU Chapter where she was responsible for creating a more inclusive, diverse, equitable and accessible environment. In that role, she helped coordinate and facilitate IDEA workshops and reached out to marginalized communities.
In her spare time, Monserrat enjoys going out with friends, watching movies/shows (sitcoms and true crime are her favorites), badminton, and photography.
