3J’s Taryn Girard is elected Vice President for ASPRS Cascadia Board

3J Civil Engineer Taryn Girard, PE, LSI, was recently elected Vice President of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Cascadia Region! He will serve a one-year term in this role and then transition to President in 2026.

Taryn has been an active member of ASPRS Cascadia for the past 18 months, and he’s looking forward to helping organize two significant regional events: the annual GIS in Action Conference in Portland, jointly hosted by ASPRS and ORURISA each spring, and the ASPRS Cascadia Technical Exchange in Vancouver scheduled for late 2025. These events serve as crucial platforms for knowledge exchange and professional networking within the geospatial community. We’re excited to see Taryn take on his new role and further ASPRS Cascadia Region’s commitment to advancing the field of photogrammetry and remote sensing in the Pacific Northwest.
