3J’s Planning Team is Growing

As the Portland region continues to grow at a rapid pace, our cities and municipalities are expanding services, adding infrastructure, and improving their facilities. Such work must be conducted with great care and thought about broader impacts on residents and businesses. Knowing that smart community planning and meaningful outreach is essential to our work for public entities, we are proud to announce that Project Manager Steve Faust, AICP and Senior Land Planner Anaïs Mathez have joined 3J Consulting!

Steve and Anaïs bring years of planning experience from their time at Cogan Owens Greene, a highly respected integrated planning firm that helped shape our corner of the country for almost 45 years. Cogan Owens Greene was a valued partner on many 3J projects. We are excited to be able to uphold their legacy and strategically expand our land use planning and community involvement services.

Steve Faust, AICP is a land use planner with 15 years’ experience as a facilitator and community engagement specialist. He has helped communities throughout the Northwest create visions that articulate aspirations for the future and strategic plans to guide future growth and development. Steve brings a sustainability framework to land use planning, striving for outcomes that are environmentally sound, socially just and economically prosperous.

Anaïs Mathez specializes in research, analysis and technical writing, bringing an analytical lens to collaborative planning processes. Projects include the development of a master plan of Coos Head for the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians and managing outreach for the City of Milwaukie’s Community Vision and Action Plan.
