3J Consulting is pleased to welcome Journie Gering to the team! In her role as Planner, she will work on various projects providing long range and current planning services.
Journie is a recent graduate of Portland State University where she earned her master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning. She also received a Graduate Certificate for Urban Design. Journie’s experience includes interning with the City of Tigard’s Community Planning Department and the City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services. She also worked on a variety of projects as part of the master’s program, including the design of the East Portland Community Center Resilient Island Plan.
In her spare time, Journie enjoys traveling with her partner, painting, and mud larking.
