3J recently welcomed Oregon State University student Alexis Pearson who is participating in our 2023 Summer Internship program. Alexis will spend eight weeks at 3J working with different teams to get exposure to a variety of projects, disciplines, and general industry operations.
Alexis is excited to intern at 3J to explore the design aspects of civil engineering. She researched several firms but chose 3J because she said, “it looked like a very inviting and fun place to work.” She is looking forward to getting some real-world experiences and seeing how the industry works while learning the things they don’t teach her in school.
Alexis is majoring in Civil Engineering and will be entering her junior year in the fall. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys being outdoors with friends, playing games like spike ball, spending time in the water, and hanging out with her cats (spoiling them rotten!).
