Brookwood Elementary School

Hillsboro, OR

The existing Brookwood Elementary School was replaced with a new 72,000 square foot two-story building.

About this Project

3J provided civil and land use planning for a new replacement elementary school while the existing school remained in operation. 3J worked with the city to provide combined water quality facilities so the facility could be maintained by the city and not the district. 3J also coordinated efforts to save thousands of dollars by not undergrounding the utilities along the frontage. The new 72,000 sqft, two-story facility is twice the size of the original school. The updates also include separated bus and parent drop-offs, a new synthetic field, and a new ADA-accessible playground.

Hillsboro School District replaced the existing Brookwood Elementary School building with a new 72,000-sqft, two-story facility, which is twice the size of the original school. The updates also include separated bus and parent drop-offs, a new synthetic field, and a new ADA-accessible playground.
