The City of Beaverton identified sidewalk improvements throughout the City as one of their 10 priorities for the investment of public funding.
This project provides ADA compliant sidewalks along SW Menlo Drive allowing for a safer, accessible route for the community. In addition to sidewalks, new curbs, grading, drainage, paving, signing, striping, and ADA crossings were installed. The project also includes new water quality facilities where space is available while upgrading the stormwater system.
3J provided alternative analysis, preliminary design and construction documents for this project. 3J staff participated in public and internal City meetings to get neighborhood input and to assist the City in selecting the preferred alternative. 3J also provided inspection services including erosion control inspection.
