Voters approved nearly $300M in bond and grant money to fund projects that would increase safety, improve access to modern technology, and address overcrowding for students in Gresham-Barlow schools.
In 2018, the Gresham-Barlow School District had playground improvement projects scheduled for East Orient, Highland, Hogan, and Hollydale Elementary Schools. The project schedules were developed around the school schedule which meant construction was only feasible during the summer months when students and faculty were on summer break. The project timelines were escalated and 3J was able to provide civil design, permitting, and construction administration services to meet all the project schedules. The new playground areas were ready for students to enjoy when they arrived back at school in the fall.
